Have you ever bought something your child absolutely loved, only for it to break, tarnish or become unwearable?

We have.

Klara began with our daughter, Eliza, and her love of jewellery.

She loved choosing and wearing her own jewellery, but too often, pieces would tarnish or break. We wanted jewellery made to last.

When Eliza had her ears pierced for her 7th birthday, we struggled to find pretty, quality earrings that were gentle on sensitive ears and affordable enough for everyday wear.

They were harder to find than we expected.

That’s when the idea for Klara began.

Then Eliza’s favourite bracelet broke.

It had been bought for her by her grandmother from a little stall while they were on holiday. It was a simple bracelet, but to Eliza it held a memory. When it broke, she was heartbroken.

It made us realise something:

Jewellery isn’t always just jewellery.

A bracelet can hold a memory of Grandma.

A pair of earrings can become part of a birthday.

A necklace can be worn and loved for years.

That’s what we want Klara to be about.

Beautiful little pieces for the moments that become big memories.
